About Our School

St. Anthony Catholic School (built in 1977) is located in the White Oaks area of London. There is a diverse student population with many families of Latin American (mainly Colombian) origin. Many of our families speak a language other than English (mainly Spanish) at home.

We currently have eighteen French Immersion classes from Senior Kindergarten to Grade 8. Students may enter early immersion in either or SK or Grade 1. The school provides a Christ-centred learning environment enabling all students to realize their full potential. The Ontario Curriculum, mandated by the Ministry of Education, is the core from which all planning begins. Our school is currently at full capacity, using all of our classrooms. We are also equipped with a library, student computers, and a gymnasium.

Living Our Faith

The staff and students of St. Anthony Catholic French Immersion school have many opportunities to pray and demonstrate their Catholic faith. These include school-wide and classroom liturgies, the celebration of the Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Reconciliation in partnership with our parish. Our school community works closely with St. Justin’s Parish Church. Students, staff and our Catholic School Council support various charitable endeavours throughout the year such as Terry Fox, Jump Rope for Heart, the United Way, the London Food Bank, and Christmas gifts for the less fortunate in our community.

Transportation Information

The majority of students who attend St. Anthony do not live within walking distance of the school. We have ten school buses serving our students. Parents are encouraged to send their children to school on the school bus.

Specific information concerning your child's bus can be obtained by logging into the Parent Portal of the Big Yellow Bus Website.
